We began working with a client who was very particular with the furniture he wanted. He didn't want MDF, particle board, or plywood construction, "no glue to off gas," so we took him to High Point Market, where there is a good selection and new introductions of furniture. We took him to the Harden Furniture showroom and out of all the furniture companies Design Works represents, there is nothing like Harden Furniture Company. They have their own forest in the US, their own mill in the US, and they manufacture all their furniture in the US, they even have there own trucks. Their quality is unbelievable, like the desk piece we have in the showroom made of 1/4 sawn oak, dovetail constructed drawers, and the list goes on and on. ABC did a special on this company because they are so unique. I believe we need to support the United States firms and employ United States workers. Harden is that kind of company and so Design Works is supporting them.
